Cake Mix & Sprinkles Washi Tape decorations

To make the banner for the top of the cake and the flags on the toothpicks I used Washi tape! I fell in love with this rainbow polka dot tape!

For the bunting I used green bakers twine and bamboo skewers. I folded the tape over the top of the bakers twine. Then cut all the ends of the tape! I tied the bakers twine to the skewers and stuck them down in the cake when it was finished.

I did the same thing with the toothpicks! It was a quick and easy craft that really popped at the party! I made them all one night while I was watching a tv show with my husband! In fact I made WAY to many and I still have a ton! The kids love them!
