This isn’t much of a recipe per say. Dipping pretzels in chocolate is pretty easy, the difference here is adding the cake mix to the chocolate (candy melts)! Pretzel Rod’s aren’t my favorite treat, but The Reader INHALES these!  She seriously loves these soooo much (and I love something tall on my table)

cake mix and sprinkles pretzel rods are SO easy to make and all the kids love them

Cake Batter & Sprinkles Pretzels

Chocolate covered pretzels are a common party food. This recipe has cake batter in the chocolate.

As far as Pretzel rod’s go these are pretty tasty.  I kinda want to add some cake mix to some CHOCOLATE chocolate melts and see what I think (salty and sweet… Mmmm).

These are actually pretzel RODS, and you can’t really sub them out, as this recipe is all about the pretzel rods! without the rods your just left with melted chocolate and sprinkles!

There is no “yield” or number of pretzel rods, how many rods will this amount of cake mix/chocolate will coat. Thank you

because you need the chocolate to be deep you end up wasting quite a bit of chocolate. I probably made about half a bag before I needed to add more chocolate? but it also depends on how much you shake off. Sorry, I never stopped to count!

kinda depends on where you live – humidity levels and such. but it all just comes down to the pretzels – once you open a bag how long do pretzel sticks last for you where you live normally?

Is it ok to eat the cake batter without properly cooking it?

there is no raw batter in these – it’s a dry cake mix that gives it the “cake batter” flavor – so it’s totally safe

Hello, I was wondering where did you get your treat containers from? And what kind of containers are they? I have been searching for them but no luck.

all the glass plates and jars? I kinda collect them from all over. The one I put the pretzels in was honestly just a vase from flowers I was given once.
