I’m known for my carved cakes. They are my specialty and my favorite to make as well. I often get asked how I do them. Well it starts with a plan, a good cake recipe and a good knife.
You can’t carve without a good knife and here is a short video on what I look for in the perfect cake carving knife (cake only, to keep it sharp don’t use it for anything else… including fingers, ouch).
