Felt Flower headband

After the birthday party flowers were such a hit I had to make one for myself in my favorite color, red! Actually I love red, but I don’t seem to own much red anymore. I’ll have to change that. But of course after I finished it The Naked One, or little S, took it. She is the baby of the family and her most use phrase is “Mine”. But she does look super cute, so I’ll let her “borrow” it for a while. The Reader, or B, liked it so much she’s been cutting out and making more all day! I’ll post all of those soon. What other colors do I NEED to make?

Update: Just a reminder, I found the tutorial at Holidash by Not Martha just before Mothers Day.  What I do different?  I let the girls pick their own petal shape.  I use a low temp Hot glue gun instead of fabric glue.  I don’t use a 2nd color.  I don’t sew a pocket OR use a pin.  And when I glue the 2 inch circle on the back of the flower I leave a track with no glue so I can slide the flower along the headband so it lands where I want it, or I can change it out to use a different hair clip instead of the headband.

Thanks you guys! My daughter and I had a ton of fun making these together! I've started selling them on my etsy store if you want. But they are fun to make as well! I think I need a few more colors for myself still… I tend to wear the red the most, it's my favorite color.
