Crochet toys

I discovered Etsy about 2 years ago when my husband was overseas.  I needed something to keep my hands busy in the evenings and since I like making things myself I like to buy the patterns and make them myself.  I actually went a little crazy and bought about a dozen different patterns (not all crochet) and these are the only ones I finished before I got out of my crochet phase again.

I also got half way through some other projects, that hopefully I’ll finish soon!  My kids loved both of these.  The bowling ball is STILL my 3rd’s favorite toy.  The stacking toy pattern was off from my guage so I had to wing the last 4 rings with some trial and error, but it was SO fun.  It went fast enough that I think I’ll make another one again someday!  And I’m not much of a pattern repeater, so that’s saying something!

No one in my family crochets, but for some reason all three of us (my 2 sisters) learned on our own as adults! Funny, huh?
