I bought my own bosch universal mixer years ago, and I’m sharing this series because I love it. Bosch did send me this new attachment to try out, but with no expectation to write about it, I am not being compensated for this review. but I am an affiliate and if you click over and buy something I do make some money
Well this slicer shredder is that, BUT it attaches to the bowl you already own so you don’t have to store another bowl. AND since it fits on your larger bowl you can slice and shred even MORE than before.
I like to buy the huge 5 lbs loaf of Tillamook cheddar at Costco, the cheapest option by far. BUT I want my cheese shredded and sliced. So I’ll buy the large loaf and grate almost all of it, and freeze it that way, and slice the last little bit and refrigerate it for sandwiches.
Also before when I would grate a bunch of potatoes for soup I’d have to grate half, pour them into the bowl then grate the rest, by using the longer bowl I’m able to grate it all at once without having to stop in between.
In fact I can do the potatoes, carrots, celery and all other sliced/grated veggies for stew at once. I can easily make an entire salad of sliced, grated, eggs and shredded veggies and cheese in the bowl too!!! The slicer shredder is great for all veggies and cheeses!
PLUS all the disks that fit on the original Slicer Shredder fit on this! So if you have the Julienne, rasping, french fry or other disks you can use them with this. PLUS all the disks are dishwasher safe!!!
what else do you want me to review? the sifter? food processor? meat grinder? pasta? there is just so much share what you want me to try?
