Eggnog French Toast with Eggnog Syrup

Eggnog is always a favorite this time of year - and not just to drink! I use eggnog to make this amazing syrup and delicious french toast and it's become a breakfast favorite.

Eggnog French Toast Batter

  • 1 C eggnog
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 C powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Eggnog Syrup

  • 1 C butter
  • 1 C eggnog
  • 2 C granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda


Eggnog Batter

  • Heat the griddle to 325
  • Whisk everything together until smooth
  • Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture
  • Cook on one side
  • Flip, and cook on the other

Eggnog Syrup

  • Combine the eggnog, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat.
  • Boil for 5 minutes
  • Remove from heat, and stir in the vanilla and baking soda
  • Serve warm on the french toast. Enjoy!
