Rub butter on the foil so the fish skin won't stick...
I also sprinkled the butter with my normal fish rub, lemon pepper, salt, etc... whatever you like with fish. Some spice brands have premixed fish spices and rubs that are easy and great!
Lay your butterfly cut trout on the butter, skin down.

Then I added some pre-made stuffing. I've never been a fan of homemade stuffing. It's one of the very VERY few things I don't make from scratch! I am in LOVE with stovetop stuffing.
Then fold over the other half of the butterfly trout.
Now we're going to wrap it up in the foil! Fold it over, then fold or roll in the open ends to create seams...
Cook for 10 minutes plus an extra 10 minutes for each inch of thickness at 350.
