Eggnog French Toast with Eggnog Syrup
Eggnog is always a favorite this time of year - and not just to drink! I use eggnog to make this amazing syrup and delicious french toast and it's become a breakfast favorite.

loaf
Cinnamon Swirl bread
or any bread you like
Eggnog French Toast Batter

C
eggnog
4
large eggs
1/4
C
powdered sugar
1
tsp
vanilla
1/4
tsp
salt
Eggnog Syrup
1
C
butter
1
C
eggnog
2
C
granulated sugar

Tbsp
corn syrup

baking soda

Instructions
Eggnog Batter
Heat the griddle to 325
Whisk everything together until smooth
Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture
Cook on one side
Flip, and cook on the other
Eggnog Syrup
Combine the eggnog, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat.
Boil for 5 minutes
Remove from heat, and stir in the vanilla and baking soda
Serve warm on the french toast. Enjoy!
