One of my VERY favorite things about being a blogger is OTHER BLOGGERS! I love going to conferences and meeting other people who love the same things I love (food) and “get” me and my weird obsession with food photography, recipe testing, and a love of social media! LUCKY for me I happen to live in a state where you can’t throw a rock without hitting a blogger. AND thankfully they have become and amazing group of friends.
SO when we started chatting about Christmas BREAKFAST/brunch (our conversations tend to include food, shocking I know) it became clear that we needed to get together and try out each others brunch recipes! These are what we make our own families for Christmas morning, and bring to holiday brunches! YOUR WELCOME! I mean HELLO! check out the amazingness that is all this food! I totally am going to be making some of these for our weekly “breakfast for dinner” nights.
I am obsessed with breakfast foods and over the years have made all sorts of things for Christmas morning, but our current obsession is Liege waffles. It’s the PERFECT Christmas morning treat cause it’s a make ahead dough, and only cook what you want to eat! Eggnog is something I make ALL THE TIME during the holidays, but especially for Christmas cause, SANTA loves it! and these scones are SO easy to whip up, just add green sugar crystals and voila CHRISTMAS TREES!

And just because – the “behind the scenes” of our brunch! Pictures first, then eating with lots of laughing, chatting and fun in between! Seven bloggers, 5 cameras, only 3 kiddo’s and 15 dishes to enjoy! I need to do this every week!
SO what is YOUR favorite thing to serve Christmas morning?
